A Delhi court has postponed its decision on the chargesheet submitted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) concerning the National Herald case. The case, which involves prominent Congress leaders, is now set for further discussion on August 7 and 8, following requests for additional clarifications.

Originally, Special Judge Vishal Gogne had reserved the court's decision for July 29 after concluding the submissions regarding the chargesheet. The court had engaged in day-to-day hearings on this matter, beginning July 2, focusing on the points raised by both the ED and the accused.

The ED accuses Congress leaders, including Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, of conspiracy and money laundering in connection with a dubious takeover of properties worth Rs 2,000 crore owned by Associated Journals Limited. This alleged fraudulent takeover reportedly involved the company Young Indian, in which the Gandhis held a majority stake.
