A search operation commenced in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, triggered by reports of suspicious activity involving three individuals, according to officials.
The operation was set in motion after a woman reported seeing these suspicious individuals in the Rajbagh area on Monday night. Authorities acted promptly, deploying a joint task force comprised of the Indian Army, police, and Special Operations Group to thoroughly comb the region.
Heightened security measures are focused along the highway and the Ujh river area, known for cross-border infiltration routes. Officials are urging locals to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
