The Lok Sabha addressed concerns on Tuesday regarding the entry privileges of personal assistants to Members of Parliament, clarifying that there is no current proposal to issue special ID cards for these aides.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar responded to a question stating MPs can access government buildings with the Secretariat Security Organisation's security cover using their identity cards.
Concerns have been raised about the accessibility of government buildings to MPs' personal assistants, as their limited entry hampers legislative duties. However, no immediate steps to streamline this access through special passes are planned according to the Ministry.
