Manoj Jarange, a prominent Maratha reservation activist, was admitted to a private hospital in Jalna district of Maharashtra on Tuesday after experiencing weakness and discomfort. The incident was confirmed by medical staff, adding to the activist's ongoing battles for community rights.
According to doctors at Sakunde Hospital, Jarange was suffering from hyperacidity, vomiting, and low blood pressure. Medical teams swiftly intervened to stabilize his condition, ensuring that he receives all necessary treatments. The hospital indicated that he would be under observation before discharge.
Jarange is widely recognized for his persistent hunger strikes advocating for Maratha community reservations. Just before his hospitalization, he announced plans for a new agitation scheduled for August 29 if demands are not met, maintaining the pressure on authorities to address community concerns.
