Two Indian nationals were apprehended on drug charges in Nepal's Sindhuli district, according to a statement by Nepal Police.
Mohamad Rijwan, 30, and Mohamad Ikrar, 35, residents of Khajurwad Jogwani, Bihar, were taken into custody in the Kamalamai Municipality area. Authorities recovered 11 grams and 500 milligrams of brown sugar from them.
The arrests occurred as the individuals traveled from Biratnagar to Kathmandu. Nepal Police have announced that further investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
