In a significant development, the ruling alliance MPs in the Rajya Sabha lauded the government's 'decisive action' against the Pahalgam terror attack, addressed during a special discussion on Operation Sindoor in both Houses of Parliament on Tuesday.
NCP MP Praful Patel emphasized that the attack, where victims were identified by religion, profoundly affected the nation. Patel highlighted the government's swift and powerful response, which involved dismantling nine terror camps within days of the incident.
Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora supported the government's strategic actions and underscored the recent improvements in national security, urging India to pursue the denuclearization of Pakistan while maintaining preemptive anti-terror measures. BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya called for global efforts to eradicate terrorism.
