In a shocking incident in outer north Delhi's Narela area, a 10-year-old boy was allegedly killed by his father on Tuesday, according to officials. A distress call was received by Narela police station reporting the discovery of a child's body with visible neck injuries.
A police team promptly arrived at the scene, located in Om Vihar Colony, Bankner. The child's mother, Komal, who resides separately from her estranged husband Narender due to domestic disputes, alleged that Narender confessed to the heinous act over the phone.
Authorities confirmed that the boy's injuries suggested possible strangulation. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with police actively pursuing the absconding suspect. The body has been sent for post-mortem as investigations continue.
