Highway Heist: Merchant Robbed of 70 Kilograms of Silver
A Mathura-based merchant was allegedly robbed of 70 kilograms of silver by unidentified assailants near Hindustan College on National Highway 19. The incident occurred at night when the merchant, returning from Agra with his sons, was forcibly stopped by a jeep and motorcycle. Police teams are investigating.

A Mathura-based merchant was reportedly robbed of 70 kilograms of silver by unidentified assailants in the Farah area of the district. The heist occurred on the night of July 29-30, according to local police.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (Agra Range) Shailesh Kumar Pandey stated that the robbery took place near Hindustan College on National Highway 19, within the Farah police station jurisdiction. The merchant was returning from Agra with his two sons at the time of the incident.
The attackers, traveling in a jeep and on a motorcycle, overtook the merchant's car, forcing it to halt, said an official. The merchant and his sons were compelled to exit their vehicle as the thieves made off with a bag containing the silver. Multiple police teams have been deployed to pursue leads on the case.
