Thailand-Cambodia Tensions Escalate Amid Ceasefire Violations

Tensions flared along the Thailand-Cambodia border as the Thai military accused Cambodian forces of violating a newly brokered ceasefire in three separate areas. The ceasefire was intended to halt the deadliest confrontation between the two nations in over a decade, which has already resulted in significant casualties and displacement.

The accusations emerged just days after a ceasefire, facilitated by leaders from Malaysia and the U.S., came into effect.
