Brothers Sentenced for Fatal Tree-Cutting Dispute
Four brothers have been sentenced to 10 years in prison for attacking a man over a tree-cutting dispute in Manda village in 2020. The court also fined them Rs 16,000 each. The victim, Kanhaiya Ram, succumbed to his injuries after being assaulted with sticks and batons.

In a significant ruling, a court has sentenced four brothers to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for their involvement in a fatal attack on a man during a dispute over tree cutting.
The altercation occurred in 2020 in Manda village, resulting in the death of Kanhaiya Ram from severe injuries.
Additionally, Judge Gyan Prakash Tripathi has imposed a fine of Rs 16,000 each on the accused: Anil, Brijesh, Vicky, and Manoj Kumar, as confirmed by Superintendent of Police Omvir Singh.
