Major Drug Bust: Brown Sugar Seized at Malda Town Station
Two individuals from Bihar were apprehended at West Bengal's Malda Town railway station with brown sugar valued at Rs 1.01 crore. The on-duty RPF personnel spotted suspicious behavior, leading to the seizure of 203 grams of contraband. The case was filed under the NDPS Act.

Two men from Bihar, Riham Reza and Md Talib Reza, were arrested at Malda Town railway station in West Bengal for possession of brown sugar worth Rs 1.01 crore.
The arrests were made after on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel noticed the duo's suspicious behavior near the station's foot-overbridge on Monday night.
A subsequent search revealed 203 grams of the illegal substance. Authorities have charged the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, transferring them to the Government Railway Police (GRP).
