In a turbulent incident in Mumbai's Goregaon area, a hawker clash erupted over space allocation, spiraling into violence. This altercation, captured on video, saw the police arrest an accomplice while their search continues for two brothers, notorious for criminal histories, who are also involved.
The hawker, Victor Pereira, was confronted by Akshay and Sagar Shivmani Patil, who have assorted past offenses, and Rohan Chavan. They allegedly demanded Pereira vacate space to enable Chavan to sell flowers. The subsequent assault, widely circulated online, urged the police into action.
An FIR has been lodged under the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), resulting in Chavan's apprehension. Meanwhile, authorities are intensifying efforts to locate the elusive Patil siblings as investigations progress.
