In a bid to facilitate seamless operations during the forthcoming monsoon session of the Jharkhand Assembly, Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato conducted a crucial meeting with senior officials on Wednesday. The session is slated to run from August 1 to August 7, encompassing five working days.

During the briefing, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Radha Krishna Kishore revealed that discussions covered 29 critical points. The Speaker instructed various department officials to ensure senior staff presence during pivotal segments like Question Hour, Call Attention Motion, and other House activities. Mahato emphasized the importance of timely responses to members' queries, enabling them to prepare supplementary questions effectively.

Addressing past issues, the Speaker directed the Electricity Department to maintain a steady power supply throughout the session, citing a previous incident of an unexpected power cut. Security and parking logistics were also deliberated. Additionally, Kishore urged officials to be prepared for spontaneous debates on current state issues, as oppositional parties may spotlight these topics during discussions.
