A local court has handed down a life imprisonment sentence to a man and his three sons for the murder of Sher Mohammad in 2019. The dramatic proceedings closed a chapter on a violent act rooted in personal vendetta.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Rekha Singh announced the verdict against Sameydin and his sons Harun, Alamgir, and Nasir, citing violation of Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. Each was additionally fined Rs 10,000.
Government counsel Kamal Kumar revealed that the crime occurred in Sisona village on August 30, 2019, during a confrontation backed by a longstanding feud. Sher Mohammad's family spearheaded the legal battle that led to the convictions.
