Crackdown on Fraud: Haryana Suspends Labour Inspectors

The Haryana government has taken a decisive stand against corruption within its ranks by suspending three labour inspectors. This action comes after a thorough inquiry revealed their involvement in approving fraudulent work-slip certificates.

Labour Minister initiated the inquiry after concerns were raised, leading to the suspension of inspectors Roshan Lal, Dhan Raj, and Raj Kumar, who were identified as part of the malpractice.

The investigation, conducted by the secretary of the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, found the inspectors guilty of negligence in verifying actual construction sites and workers, necessitating swift action.
