The Central Government has been lauded for its effective handling of public grievances, addressing 4.47 lakh cases out of 6.6 lakh submitted between April and July 2025, as per an update in the Rajya Sabha. Union Minister Jitendra Singh credited improvements to systems like CPGRAMS, which facilitate efficient management and quick response times.
Singh revealed that CPENGRAMS, an online portal for pension-related complaints, reduced the average grievance resolution time from 35 to 20 days within six months. Such progress underscores the government's commitment to enhancing administrative responsiveness across departments.
Efforts to streamline processes include strategic policy reforms, feedback mechanisms, and special campaigns like the Pension Adalat. These measures reflect a dedicated shift towards a citizen-centric framework, enabling the government to address administrative challenges effectively without the need for judicial interventions.
