Minister's Aide Accused: Crackdown on Workplace Harassment in Uttar Pradesh

A case has been registered against Jai Kishan Singh, the private secretary to Uttar Pradesh Minister Asim Arun, for allegedly molesting a female employee at Bhagidari Bhawan. The complaint prompted the Minister to direct police action, resulting in Singh being taken for questioning.
Gomti Nagar Police Station Chief Brijesh Chandra Tiwari confirmed the case's registration and ongoing investigation. Minister Arun, also in charge of Social Welfare and related divisions, stressed the government's strict stance on preventing sexual harassment.
Further measures include Sensitization workshops at Social Welfare Department workplaces as Arun advocates a safe, respectful environment, ensuring a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment.
