Revelations have surfaced from a former Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) official, who unveiled alleged orders to apprehend RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. The agenda behind this directive was supposedly to substantiate claims of 'saffron terror,' as stated by retired inspector Mehiboob Mujawar.
Mujawar's remarks followed the trial court's decision to acquit all accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, including former BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur. The court, he noted, dispelled the falsehood propagated by the erstwhile ATS investigation, which was later reassigned to the National Investigation Agency.
This bombshell claims have stirred controversy, with Mujawar insisting he possesses documentary evidence to corroborate his allegations of fabricated orders, which he claims irrevocably tarnished his 40-year law enforcement career.
