In a dramatic twist of events, South Korea's former President Yoon Suk Yeol has once again eluded questioning in detention by taking off his prison uniform and lying on the floor, refusing to cooperate with investigators. This marks a notable resistance in a high-profile legal battle that has captured national attention.

Yoon stands accused of numerous charges, including rebellion linked to his brief imposition of martial law last December, as well as allegations of wielding unwarranted influence on the ruling party's nominations in 2022. Special Counsel Min Joong-ki leads the probe, bolstered by a court-issued warrant that will authorize forcible compliance if necessary.

The investigation also extends to Yoon's wife, Kim Keon Hee, amid claims of nefarious political manipulation. Despite citing medical conditions as a defense, Yoon's legal team is at odds with the prosecution's persistent efforts to ensure accountability and uphold the principle that no one is above the law in South Korea.
