Officials, acting on a tip-off, intercepted two cars near Mathadakere in Kantavar Cross, part of Beluvai village in Moodbidri taluk, Dakshina Kannada district. The seized substances were allegedly being smuggled across state lines.

Arrests were made, identifying the individuals as Masood M K (45), Mohammed Ashiq (24), and Subair (30), all from Kasaragod district, Kerala. Additionally, the operation secured two vehicles and five mobile phones, with the confiscated items totaling an estimated Rs 46.2 lakh.
