In a disturbing event in Gujarat's Panchmahal district, two tribal men were reportedly kidnapped and assaulted for eloping with two women, police revealed on Friday. This incident captured significant attention after a video showing the brutality was widely circulated on social media.
According to the police, the women were also victims of assault, allegedly by their own relatives and villagers. Deputy Superintendent of Police NV Patel stated that ten individuals have been arrested and a full investigation is underway.
The shocking episode, which took place in Tadva village, began when the accused, angered by the men's relationship with the women, tracked them down to a different district. An offense has been registered against those involved, and investigations continue to provide justice for the victims.
