In a significant breakthrough, Jaisalmer police arrested two men for allegedly attempting to sell synthetic drug MDMA in the local market, seizing an amount valued at Rs 3.5 crore on the international stage.

This successful operation was spearheaded by a district special team alongside local law enforcement, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shivhare. They intercepted an SUV transporting 336.4 grams of MDMA, allegedly operated by Prakash (28) and Prem Prakash (28) from Phalodi district.

The operation forms part of a larger statewide initiative to combat narcotics distribution. Authorities are actively interrogating the accused to dismantle the supply chain further, with Prakash having prior incidents under the NDPS Act. Investigations continue.
