NIA Captures Key Suspect in Manipur Killing Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced the arrest of Lalrosang Hmar, a crucial figure suspected of involvement in the heinous killings of three women and three children in Jiribam, Manipur. This arrest follows closely behind the capture of another suspect, Thanglienlal Hmar, highlighting ongoing efforts to solve last year's tragedy.

According to officials, Lalrosang Hmar was apprehended from Aizawl in Mizoram. This arrest adds momentum to the investigation into the brutal murders that occurred on November 11th of the previous year, where victims were abducted and disposed of in the Barak River, a crime that has deeply shaken the community.

In connection with the case, NIA has seized a mobile phone and SIM card from Lalrosang Hmar, which are currently under examination. The agency continues its diligent efforts to gather evidence and bring all those involved in this crime to justice.
