U.S. Government Limits Karachi Hotel Visits Amid Threat

The United States has imposed temporary restrictions on visits by its government personnel to high-end hotels in Karachi, Pakistan, following a threat report, according to the State Department on Friday.
The U.S. Consulate General in Karachi issued a security alert, stating that a threat was identified targeting luxury hotels frequented by Western guests. In response, visits by official U.S. government employees to these establishments have been curtailed.
