Tragedy in Kyiv: Rescuers Uncover Grim Aftermath of Devastating Strikes
A Russian air strike on Kyiv has become the deadliest attack of the year, killing 31 people, including five children. The multi-wave strike involved over 300 drones and eight missiles. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy assures aid for those affected, while international criticism of Russia intensifies.

In one of the deadliest attacks on Ukraine's capital this year, Ukrainian rescuers have recovered over a dozen bodies from the rubble of a collapsed apartment block in Kyiv. The toll from the devastating Russian air strike now stands at 31, including five children, following a relentless assault involving over 300 drones and eight missiles.
The attack, which has severely wounded 159 people, sparked international condemnation and intensified criticism of Russia's ongoing military campaign. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy vowed to provide assistance to those affected in the aftermath of the 24-hour rescue operation. In Kharkiv, another drone attack injured 10 people, adding to the toll of this relentless aggression.
U.S. President Donald Trump condemned Russia's actions as "disgusting," urging a resolution by August 8. Trump displayed a shift in policy, moving nuclear submarines closer to Russia and signaling increased support for Ukraine. Meanwhile, international efforts for diplomacy remain stalled, with many questioning if Russia will respond to mounting pressure.
