Ghislaine Maxwell Moves to Texas: A New Chapter in a Complex Case
Ghislaine Maxwell has been relocated from a Florida prison to a lower-security facility in Texas to serve her 20-year sentence for her role in aiding Jeffrey Epstein's abuse of underage girls. This move follows a discussion with Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche about those possibly involved in Epstein's crimes.

Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred from a Florida prison to a federal facility in Bryan, Texas, to continue her 20-year sentence related to her involvement in Jeffrey Epstein's criminal activities, the U.S. Bureau of Prisons confirmed. Her move comes a week after discussions with Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche regarding others potentially involved.
Her attorney, David Markus, confirmed the transfer but did not provide further comments. Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Justice remained silent on the matter. Former President Donald Trump, when queried about a potential pardon for Maxwell, stated he had not been approached but noted his prerogative to act.
The transfer to the minimum-security Bryan facility, as explained by BOP spokesperson Donald Murphy, was a standard reassessment based on security requirements. This development resurfaces as pressure mounts on Trump for transparency in the ongoing investigation. Concurrently, discussions continue on whether to release the grand jury transcripts related to the indictments of Maxwell and Epstein.
