Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district successfully neutralized two terrorists in an encounter over the weekend, officials reported.
The operation kicked off following precise intelligence inputs outlining the presence of terrorists in the Akhal forest area. The initial exchange of fire started Friday evening, leading to a pause overnight.
On Saturday morning, following reinforcements, the operation concluded with the elimination of the terrorists. Authorities are currently working to determine the identity and group affiliation of the slain individuals as the operation remains active.
