Pavnesh Kumar Joins HPPSC: A New Chapter for Himachal Pradesh Governance
Pavnesh Kumar, a retired 1989-batch Indian Forest Service officer, was inducted into the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission in a ceremony overseen by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. Kumar hails from Kangra district and has a notable background in forestry, having held key positions in the department.

In a dignified ceremony at the Raj Bhavan, Pavnesh Kumar, a retired 1989-batch Indian Forest Service officer, was officially inducted as a member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC).
The event was presided over by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, who administered the oath of office and secrecy to Kumar. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena and Secretary to the Governor, C P Verma, were prominent attendees at the ceremony.
Originating from Busal-Baroh in Kangra district, Kumar boasts an impressive academic and professional background, including a PhD from Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry. He has previously served as the principal chief conservator of forests in Himachal Pradesh.
