A mother and her son have been implicated in a major fraud case involving a Rs 2.25 crore loan, as reported by the police. The duo is accused of collaborating with an SBI loan officer and her husband to fabricate a false firm and secure the substantial loan from the State Bank of India's Baheri branch.

This development follows a complaint lodged by Julie Singh, the chief manager of the SBI Branch on Bypass Road, Baheri, after an internal probe. According to the police, Afsana and her son, Aman Hussain, set up a fictitious entity called Electronic Plaza, falsely claiming a dealership with a known company, Value Plus.

With alleged assistance from SBI loan officer Sakshi Singh and her husband Shivam Agrawal, the loan was approved without necessary collateral. The subsequent investigation revealed funds were channeled to Shivam Agrawal's Vishal Communication firm. The documentation presented to secure the loan was found to be falsified, prompting ongoing legal proceedings.
