A deadly collision in Possi village has left a 12-year-old boy dead and eight others injured after three motorcycle-borne snatchers collided with a car. The tragic incident occurred as the perpetrators fled the scene of a robbery against a woman, according to police reports on Saturday.

The accident, which took place on Friday night near Garhshankar, resulted in the death of Karanjot Singh and injuries to five car passengers: Lovepreet Singh, Anu, Sonia Rani, Jugraj Singh, and Harpreet Singh, all from Dhade Kalan. They were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital, with two critically injured being transferred to Hoshiarpur.

The snatchers, identified as Rahul Kumar and Rohan from Chabbewal, were also hospitalized. Sub-Inspector Ramandeep Kaur disclosed that the men had earlier intercepted Amandeep Kaur and her husband near Moranwali village, stealing her earrings before their hasty and tragic escape. Investigations continue as authorities seek the identity of the third snatcher.
