In a shocking turn of events, a woman accused of marrying and defrauding multiple men has been apprehended in Nagpur. The suspect, identified as Samira Fatima, also known by other aliases, was arrested following a year-long manhunt.

Samira allegedly targeted unsuspecting individuals, marrying them and then extorting money under the pretext of false rape allegations. She was nabbed by the police from a tea stall in the Civil Lines area based on a tip-off.

Complaints from victims, including a businessman and a bank manager, revealed a pattern of deceit involving false identities and blackmail. The investigation, led by Officer Sharda Bhopale, also uncovered that Samira had accomplices, including a maulana and a lawyer, who aided in her fraudulent schemes.
