NIA Chargesheets Five in Chhattisgarh Arms Recovery Case
The National Investigation Agency has filed chargesheets against five individuals for their involvement in the Chhattisgarh arms recovery case, linked to the CPI (Maoist). These operatives, functioning as Over Ground Workers, were involved in supplying explosives and providing logistics support for a planned attack.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed chargesheets against five individuals in connection with the February 2024 Chhattisgarh arms recovery case, according to an official statement released on Saturday. This action is part of the ongoing investigations into terrorist activities linked to the CPI (Maoist) group.
The accused, identified as Anish Khan alias Annu Khan, Anil Kumar Netam, Jaysing Hidko, Raghvueer Jain, and Shailendra Kumar Baghel alias Golu, have been recognized as Over Ground Workers (OGWs) for the banned CPI (Maoist). Among them is one who supplied explosives to the group.
The NIA's supplementary chargesheet filed in a special court in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, charges the individuals under sections of the Indian Penal Code, Explosive Substances Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, as the agency continues its efforts to disrupt the Maoist organization's operations.
