Tragic End Amidst Marital Conflict: Pregnant Woman Fatally Stabbed by Husband

In a gripping case of domestic violence, a pregnant woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband in a village, police reported on Sunday. The victim, identified as Sapna, married Ravishankar earlier this year but had been living apart due to marital issues.

According to police, Ravishankar visited his wife on Saturday morning at her sister's residence. Under the pretence of a private discussion, he lured her into a room, locked the door, and fatally attacked her with a knife. The accused later contacted authorities, admitting to the heinous act.

While the victim's family claims Sapna was seven months pregnant, confirmation is pending a post-mortem examination. Police have initiated a detailed investigation into the case, considering family statements and the motive behind the crime.
