Devastation in Mykolaiv: Russian Missile Strike Rocks Southern Ukraine

In a devastating turn of events, a Russian missile strike on the city of Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine left at least seven people injured and caused substantial damage to numerous homes and civilian infrastructure, regional governor Vitaliy Kim reported on Sunday.

Governor Kim shared photographs on Telegram showing the extensive destruction, with debris scattered across the affected areas. The attack damaged 23 private homes, 12 apartment buildings, and a post office. As the conflict persists, both sides deny any intention to harm civilians.

Amid escalating tensions, Ukraine's air force indicated that over 76 drones and seven missiles targeted the nation overnight, hitting eight different locations. While Ukraine's defense forces managed to intercept many threats, the danger remains ever-present across the front-line regions like Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.
