Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has accused the Congress party of misleading the public with empty promises, questioning their contributions during their 55-year tenure. Speaking at a significant event in Panchkula, Saini distributed ownership certificates and allotment letters under the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana, emphasizing the BJP's commitment to the welfare of common people.
He claimed that despite long years in power, the Congress failed to deliver real change for the poor, citing issues like inadequate documentation for promised land plots. Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's successful initiatives, Saini pointed to projects such as the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which brought LPG to countless households, and noted the state's affordable provision of cooking gas cylinders.
Saini further lauded advancements in basic amenities like water supply under the Jal Jeevan Mission and healthcare improvements through schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Dismissing opposition criticism on property registration rates, he asserted that only 10% areas saw rate hikes, reinforcing faith in what he termed a 'double-engine government' focused on the welfare of its citizens.
