The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, accusing them of fabricating false cases against its leaders, and questioned the emotional toll on families due to serious corruption accusations.
A special court offered significant relief to AAP's Satyendar Jain on Monday by accepting the CBI's closure report, which dismissed a 2018 corruption case related to the hiring of a creative team for the Public Works Department (PWD). The investigation found no wrongdoing or loss to the government. In response, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal condemned all cases against his party as 'false.'
The court's acceptance of the CBI's closure report noted the absence of incriminating evidence, making further proceedings futile. AAP leaders are now calling for those responsible for filing false cases to be held accountable. Despite BJP's targeting, AAP leaders reaffirm their commitment to truth and justice.
