A shocking allegation has emerged from a reputed school in Thane, where parents of a four-year-old girl claim she has been sexually assaulted on campus, police revealed on Monday.
According to the complaint, an unidentified individual in blue clothing is said to have molested the child within school premises on July 30, during school hours.
Police have initiated an investigation under the POCSO Act. While initial review of school CCTV did not show suspicious activity, further efforts by law enforcement are underway, including staff interviews and witness testimonies. The school authorities are reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
