Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister's Two-Wheeler Inspection Ride Sparks Controversy

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar found himself at the center of controversy when he rode a two-wheeler with 34 outstanding traffic fines during a Hebbal flyover inspection.

Though Congress sources claim the vehicle isn't Shivakumar's, the Bengaluru Traffic Police report violations for riding without a helmet and using a mobile phone.

While this has drawn criticism from JD(S), calling it a publicity stunt, Shivakumar's video emphasizes easing traffic congestion. The police have yet to address the vehicle's pending fines.
