The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Chandigarh Zonal Unit has announced the arrest of Jagsir Singh, a proclaimed offender linked to a 36.150 kg opium seizure case. Singh, who had adopted multiple identities to evade law enforcement, found new fame as a singer on various social media platforms, including YouTube and Instagram.

Singh, known by aliases Kala and Baaz, originally from Sirsa, Haryana, was declared a proclaimed offender in 2016. Despite the NCB publishing his details in major newspapers and offering a reward for his capture, Singh managed to evade capture for years. His arrest follows credible information received by the NCB, highlighting their ongoing efforts in combating drug trafficking.

During his absconding years, Singh's alter ego as a singer garnered substantial attention online. His apprehension signals a considerable achievement in the NCB's mission to dismantle drug networks and enforce stringent control on narcotics activity across the region.
