In a shocking incident in South Delhi's Neb Sarai area, a 50-year-old woman was brutally murdered by her estranged husband. The accused, Pramod Jha, allegedly disguised himself as a holy man to gain access to her home, police reported on Wednesday.
Kiran Jha, a caregiver, was discovered lifeless in her home, with her daughter-in-law finding her in a pool of blood early on Wednesday. The perpetrator, who hailed from Bihar, reportedly had a history of domestic violence against his wife.
Law enforcement officials have launched an extensive manhunt to locate the suspect. Although he fled the scene shortly after the crime, significant evidence, including CCTV footage, is aiding the investigation to ensure justice is served, police confirmed.
