In a significant diplomatic development, Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to involve the ASEAN regional bloc as observers in their ongoing ceasefire.
This agreement was announced by Thailand's Acting Minister of Defence, Nattaphon Narkphanit, during a meeting with his Cambodian counterpart, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The two countries are also committed to maintaining open lines of communication and utilizing bilateral mechanisms to ensure peaceful co-existence.
