In a tragic incident, Canadian law enforcement has apprehended Jerdaine Foster, 32, for the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Indian student Harsimrat Randhawa. Foster faces a first-degree murder charge, among others, following the deadly events at a bus stop.

Randhawa was an innocent victim, struck by a stray bullet while waiting to cross the street after disembarking from a bus. Seven individuals, in four vehicles, were involved in the violent confrontation that led to gunfire exchange using at least two firearms.

The apprehension occurred at Niagara Falls, Ontario, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities emphasize their commitment to identifying and arresting additional suspects involved in the fatal conflict that tragically claimed Randhawa's life.
