In a bold move Friday, Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor leveled hefty corruption allegations against the Bihar Health Department, a portfolio under BJP's supervision. He accused Health Minister Mangal Pandey and state BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal of engaging in corrupt practices, characterizing them as more corrupt than RJD president Lalu Prasad.

At a press conference, Kishor pointed to 'serious irregularities', citing the costly procurement of ambulances and undocumented financial dealings. He alleged that Pandey purchased a Delhi flat with Jaiswal's assistance, further claiming quid pro quo in granting university status to a medical college linked to Jaiswal.

While Pandey and Jaiswal were unavailable for comment, Kishor expanded his critique to include other BJP leaders. He spotlighted the conviction of Jibesh Mishra in a spurious medicine case, demanding accountability across the board. Kishor also condemned police actions against students and advocated for justice in unrelated incidents in Haryana.
