Brazen Heist: Armed Robbers Loot Gold Loan Office

In a daring daylight heist on Sheetla Mata Road, five armed robbers posing as auditors looted Rs 9.5 lakh in cash from a Manappuram Gold Loan office. The police revealed the incident occurred on Saturday evening, with ongoing investigations to ascertain if any jewelry was taken.
Law enforcement swiftly responded by establishing barricades at key intersections and scrutinizing local CCTV footage to track down the suspects, confirmed Sukhbir, SHO of Sector 5 police station. The heist unfolded just before the office closed, with two men initially gaining entry by pretending to be auditors.
Subsequently, two to three accomplices joined them, overpowering the staff and a security guard at gunpoint. The assailants fled on motorbikes, leaving the employees to report the crime to authorities, who have since mobilized efforts to apprehend the robbers.
