The Army convened a crucial core group meeting at the White Knight Corps in Nagrota to assess the current security situation in the Jammu region, officials reported on Sunday.

During the meeting on Saturday night, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma lauded the effective coordination between various security agencies operating in the area.

A statement from Northern Command on social media thanked Lt Gen Pratik Sharma for spearheading the Core Group Security Review, which included senior officials from the Army, Police, CRPF, and other security organizations.
