Security measures have been significantly intensified around a controversial mausoleum in Fatehpur as the Hindu group, Math Mandir Sanrakshan Sangharsh Samiti, announced plans for a 'kirtan' event at the location.

Tensions have escalated after a recent incident where a mob vandalized the mausoleum, asserting it as a Hindu temple. Local authorities have enforced prohibitory orders, restricting residents from leaving their homes without legitimate reasons to prevent further unrest.

District Magistrate Ravindra Singh and Superintendent of Police Anoop Singh conducted a site inspection on Saturday to assess security deployments. Over 300 police officers, supported by two platoons of the Provincial Armed Constabulary and Special Task Force teams, are stationed around the mausoleum. Drone surveillance is also actively monitoring the area.
