A tragic incident unfolded in west Delhi's Moti Nagar as a 25-year-old driver was taken into custody after allegedly causing a fatal accident. The accused, identified as Amrinder Singh, reportedly drove his Thar SUV into a motorcycle, resulting in the instant death of biker Bhikshu Lal, aged 40.
The harrowing collision took place around midnight near Sudarshan Park. Following the initial impact, Singh's vehicle also collided with a truck before finally halting. Despite fleeing the scene initially, Singh was later traced and arrested by police officials.
Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from the vicinity to determine the precise events leading up to the crash. This incident adds to a recent string of accidents involving Thar SUVs in the area.
