A bomb blast in Madhyamgram, West Bengal, claimed the life of Sachiddananda Mishra from Uttar Pradesh, early Monday morning. The incident took place near Madhyamgram High School, where a black bag Mishra carried exploded, authorities reported.

Mishra suffered from grave injuries that led to his death despite undergoing surgery. The National Investigation Agency and forensic teams gathered evidence, raising suspicions about Mishra's involvement in a potential terrorist plot. His absence from family contact and employment in a Haryana glass factory prompted investigators to explore these possibilities.

Torn bag pieces, wire fragments, and personal IDs were seized from the scene. Investigators are examining chemical evidence to determine the explosive type while questioning a local businessman, Arup Paul, who met with Mishra shortly before the explosion. Local CCTV footage is also under scrutiny in the ongoing investigation.
