The Delhi government unveiled the 'Delhi Mitra' app on Tuesday, designed to streamline communication between citizens and various governmental bodies. This advancement was announced after a cabinet meeting, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

Chief Minister Gupta emphasized the app's dual role as both a grievance platform and a trust-building tool, integrating entities like the Delhi Police, DDA, MCD, NDMC, and Delhi Cantt. By facilitating complaints through mobile phones and WhatsApp, the app ensures residents receive timely updates on their issues.

Nodal officers will be assigned to expedite the resolution process, while public grievance officers will conduct weekly hearings to foster a responsive administration. Gupta reiterated the app's promise of transformative public dialogue, ensuring citizen voices are not only heard but acted upon.
