The bodies of an eight-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man, tragically swept away in recent flash floods, have been recovered in Jammu and Kashmir's districts of Rajouri and Poonch, according to state officials.

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), alongside police and local residents, launched an extensive search operation to recover the victims, who were caught in the surging waters of the Suran River and Mubarakhpura Nallah.

Though the weather continues to unleash havoc, rescue teams remain active in the region, clearing roads and assisting residents stranded by landslides and flooding.
